Christofle Gallia Libellule Silver-Plated Dragonfly Vase With Box

A striking Christofle Gallia “Libellule” vase featuring the celebrated sculptural dragonfly motif. Inspired by an iconic French Art Nouveau design, the dramatic raised wings wrap around the upper body while the dragonfly’s elongated tail travels down the vase’s polished silver-plated surface.

Christofle reissued its historic Gallia dragonfly vase between 2002 and 2004. The original fitted green Christofle presentation box and hallmarks on this example are consistent with that production period.

The vase measures approximately 6 inches tall and weighs a substantial 665 grams. It remains beautifully reflective with light scratches, surface wear and minor tarnishing consistent with age and careful use. Please review all photographs for condition and details.
